                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 345
                   FRAZIER AVENUE, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST LINE OF
                   FRAZIER AVENUE AT TREMONT STREET FROM C-2
                   CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL ZONE TO C-3 CENTRAL
                   BUSINESS ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 345 Frazier Avenue,
                being on the northeast line of Frazier Avenue at
                Tremont Street.  Part of block 6, Frazier's
                Addition No. 1 to Hill City, as shown by plat of
                record in plat book 4, page 16, ROHC; being the
                property described in deed book 4115, page 466,
                ROHC.  Tax Map No. 135E-E-12.
               
         from C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone to C-3 Central Business 
Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
              	   1.	Limited to 5-story buildings on the property.
              	   2.	All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
